Non-medical home care is most typically paid for through private pay and long term care insurance. There is often a combination of options used, including family members who choose to share in the cost. Invoicing clearly shows the times our care was provided to meet the requirements of insurance providers in cases where it applies. We invoice directly to the client or provider where applicable.

We provide services throughout Hartford and Tolland Counties and have staff that live in those areas.

Yes, all our caregivers are bonded and insured. This includes workers compensation insurance, disability insurance, and general liability insurance. We also conduct an extensive background check including a DMV screening on all caregivers and they must complete our orientation and training program.

We meet with you personally for a free in-home consultation and design a plan of care together. Next, we carefully select and introduce a qualified caregiver who will lend a hand to make your life easier. Our goal is to help ensure you see the same friendly face each visit. If we aren’t the best option for you, we are happy to make referrals to other local agencies.

We have a 3 hour minimum per visit and a 2 day minimum per week. Yes, we can provide care 24/7, 365 days a year. We are available mornings, daytime, evenings and overnight including weekends and holidays.

If you are going to cancel a visit, we ask that you call our office directly at least 72 hours before the start of the visit. To be fair to our caregivers, we do charge for the visit if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice. If you wish to cancel services permanently you can do so at any time.

Absolutely. We will simply find a caregiver who is a better match for you. Matching you with the right caregiver is very important to us.

We are committed to choosing compassionate caregivers that we would trust to care for our own family and loved ones. We hire qualified, reliable, and kind caregivers who genuinely enjoy helping seniors. Each potential caregiver must pass a criminal background check and detailed screening process. They are also required to complete a detailed orientation of our company policies. Ongoing evaluation of each caregiver/client relationship ensures a successful match and quality of service.

Our non-medical services are designed to assist with your everyday tasks and are custom tailored to meet your individual needs. We provide care in many ways, including light housekeeping, laundry/linens, meal preparation and planning, grocery shopping, transportation, memory care, companionship, personal care, medication reminders and much more!

Yes. Sometimes, seniors need more assistance than what they are getting in a facility. To maximize independence in older adults living at assisted living facilities or other types of care facilities, we can provide qualified caregivers to help out with daily tasks.
